PATTERN (PDF): Starting at Square One Quilt (Immediate Download)

Finishing up at 50”x 50” the Starting at Square One quilt is a fantastic size for both children and lap quilts alike.

The 23” center square is the perfect place to showcase novelty, large print, or favorite fabrics.  The 5” blocks surrounding this center are meant for using precuts in coordinating and contrasting fabrics and then the entire quilt top is finished up with a 5” border.  

The limited cutting involved, along with the simple construction, make it a terrific quilt for beginners or for a handmade gift that needs to be completed in an afternoon.

This quilt pattern is fast becoming a favorite in my stash.
